Fort Campbell Boulevard wreck near Chik-fil-A results in possible injuries

A two-vehicle wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville resulted in possible injuries Monday evening.

According to Hopkinsville Police, Penny Ashby of Elkton was traveling north on Fort Campbell Boulevard while Walter Naghtin of Cerulean was attempting to exit the Chik-Fil-A parking lot and turn left onto the boulevard.

While passing the restaurant, Ashby reportedly collided with Naghtin who was in her path of travel. Ashby told first responders that she was unsure of where Naghtin’s vehicle came from. Following the wreck, Naghtin was reportedly disoriented and unable to provide a statement.

Ashby was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries to her left hand, right knee and right ankle.
