Heritage Christian Academy picked up its first high school baseball win of the season with a 5-4 walk-off victory over visiting Webster County on Saturday.
Henry Bullard’s two-run double was the winning hit for the Warriors, who improved to 1-1 on the year. Bullard finished the game with three RBI. Preston Haddock also had a pair of hits for HCA.
Caden Hale earned the pitching win, holding Webster County to only four hits in a complete game.
HCA was scheduled to play UHA on Tuesday night, but has forfeited that contest. The Warriors are set to play Livingston Central on Thursday.
