Christian County Grand Jury issues indictments for fleeing, assault crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for fleeing and assault crimes on Friday.

Thirty-nine-year-old Phillip Majors of Oak Grove was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly fled from and later assaulted law enforcement officers who were attempting to arrest him on September 8, 2025. He was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of third-degree assault of a police officer, retaliating against a participant in a legal process, fourth-degree assault, third-degree terroristic threatening and resisting arrest. 

Twenty-one-year-old Corey Johnson of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on January 19 in a car that was stolen. He was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, improper signaling, failure to produce an insurance card and speeding. 

Twenty-year-old Donald Brown of Nashville was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property, after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in November 2024 in a car that was reported stolen. 

Then, 31-year-old Matthew Delpois of Livingston, Texas was indicted for procuring or promoting the use of a minor after he reportedly attempted to meet with a minor for sex in December 2025.
