A small fire at Novelis in Guthrie was quickly handled Wednesday morning, with no reports of injuries.
That’s according to Todd County Emergency Management Director Ash Groves, who tells WHOP News that the Novelis Fire Department made quick work of containing the fire after the call went out for first responders around 8 a.m. No injuries were reported in the small blaze, with cause under investigation.
The fire did result in a brief evacuation of employees from the production facility.
Firefighters were the Elkton and Guthrie Fire Departments responded to the scene to assist.
