A Hopkinsville woman has been charged with burglary following investigation into an incident on Henderson Drive early Tuesday morning.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers were called to the 400 block of Henderson for reports that 48-year-old Tosha Harris of Hopkinsville had broken in the back door of the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered a broken window and broken glass door, with trails of blood throughout the home.
There were reportedly several items broken inside the home, and a doorbell video system showed Harris break the glass door with her hand and then open the door.
Harris allegedly got into a verbal and physical altercation with her husband, who was in the home, before also pushing the victim.
Harris was located a short time later and arrested. She is charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.
