A head-on collision on Witty Lane resulted in multiple people being transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Destiny Fields of Hopkinsville was traveling north on Witty Lane when she entered the opposite lane while she was adjusting her sun visor.
In the opposite lane, Fields reportedly collided with a car driven by Sandra Gregg of Hopkinsville who was traveling south. Gregg allegedly told first responders that following the wreck, Fields apologized to her and stated that she had pulled her sun visor down and was not paying attention to the road.
Both drivers and a passenger from Gregg’s car were transported to the hospital for injuries.
