Nortonville man killed in vehicle vs. pedestrian collision

Kentucky State Police are investigating after a Nortonville man was struck by a vehicle and died in Hopkins County Tuesday. 

According to a news release, the collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian happened just before 6 p.m. on U.S. 41 in Hopkins County near the intersection with Old Nortonville-White Plains Road.

Preliminary investigation has determined that a vehicle struck 70-year-old Joseph Davis Nortonville while he was reportedly standing in the roadway.

Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.  The investigation remains ongoing.
