Grand jury hands down indictments for murder, rape

A Christian County Grand Jury has returned several indictments that contain serous charges, including two individuals charged with murder.

Forty-three-year-old Douglas Jones Jr. of Hopkinsville has been indicted on the charges of murder, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-offense DUI with aggravator, in connection with a fatal wreck that occurred on Lovers Lane on October 25. Jones’ vehicle reportedly went off the roadway and struck another vehicle head-on, which was parked in a driveway. That collision resulted in the death of 77-year-old William “Ide” Bouldin and injured another victim.

Results from the Kentucky State Police Crime Laboratory allegedly reportedly revealed that Jones’ blood alcohol content was roughly three times the legal limit when the collision occurred.

The grand jury indicted 63-year-old Patricia Bader-Sanders of Hopkinsville with murder in the November death of Wilma Saturley.  Bader-Sanders was originally charged with knowing abuse/neglect of an adult following investigation into reported physical injuries on Saturley that was consistent with that of abuse.

Twenty-three-year-old Alexis Feliciano of Oak Grove was indicted on a charge of first-degree rape, who is accused of using forcible compulsion to sexually assault a victim in November.
