A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of West 2nd Street and North Drive resulted in injuries on Tuesday.
According to a report, Mario Frias of Hanson was driving south down North Drive in a box truck approaching the West 2nd Street intersection. At the same time, Cherry Stafford of Hopkinsville was stopped at the intersection on West 2nd Street and attempted to turn left as Frias was approaching, which led to the collision.
Stafford reportedly told first responders that he did not see Frias’ vehicle. Frias was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for his injuries.
