Area cross-country runners earn postseason honors

Several area high school cross-country runners have earned accolades following the 2025 season.

Hopkinsville High School’s Lauren Mayes earned Girls’ All Area 1 First Team honors, according to Head Coach Roger Volk.

Alexis Herrera-Lovato was named to the All Area 1 Second Team.

For the boys, Tyson Cavinder was named to the Boys’ All Area 1 Second Team.

Christian County’s Cayden Cline finished off a great season by earning Boys’ All Area 1 First Team honors.

University Heights Academy freshman Graham Conrad picked up All Area 1 Second Team honors and also was named to the Class 1-A Boys All Area Team.

Conrad finished first among UHA runners eight times during the 2025 season. His best finish was at the Class 1-A, Region 1 Meet where he took second place.

The Blazers’ Jude Finch and Ronan Croney-Sallie also were named to the Class 1-A All Area Team.

Croney-Sallie also completed a successful season by earning a spot on the Area 1 Middle School Boys 2025 4K First Team.
