A Paducah man is facing serious charges in Princeton, after officers responded to reports of an assault Sunday in the area of Hillview Court.
According to the Princeton Police Department, officers responded for reports of an EPO violation and a possible assault, and upon arrival, found 34-year-old Tyler Masse of Paducah walking away from the scene.
Upon contact with the female victim, she informed officers that Masse had allegedly forced his way into the residence and began to assault and strangle her. She also accused him of attempting to sexually assault her.
Masse was arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation, first-degree attempted rape, second-degree burglary, violation of a Kentucky Emergency Protective Order and fourth-degree assault.
