Following an FBI investigation, a man has been taken into custody who is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile victim in Murray last year.
According to a news release, the Murray Police Department was contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation about an ongoing investigation involving Gregory Ford, who had been arrested in Florida for the sexual assault of a juvenile. Ford is a traveling veterinarian and FBI agents had reportedly identified an additional victim of Ford’s in Murray.
He is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile in Murray in 2024, where he is now facing charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.
Ford is being held in custody in Florida, and is awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.
There could still be other unknown victims in this case—anyone with additional information is asked to contact investigators.
