A man was killed in a house fire on Striped Bridge Road in Christian County early Wednesday morning.
The cause of the blaze is currently unknown, but multiple volunteer fire departments were called to the area of Striped Bridge Road and Lafayette Road just before 1:30 a.m. for reports of a residence fully engulfed in flames.
The home was completely destroyed in the fire, and once the fire was under control, a search of residence revealed a victim.
Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel has identified the victim as 83-year-old Stephen Finchum.
