Two elementary school students have been removed from classes in the Dawson Springs Independent School District, following investigation into a ‘kill list’ on Monday.
According to a statement from the school system, officials learned of two, elementary-school aged girls who reportedly had a ‘kill list’ in their possession while in class Monday morning. The teacher immediately confiscated that list and the two students were removed from class.
They are reportedly being disciplined on ‘multiple levels’, according to the district, and there appears to be no immediate threat to the student body, or staff.
The investigation continues, with the district to be contacting the parents of any student directly involved in the incident.
