A home on Daven Drive was damaged in a fire Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, firefighters responded to the 100 block of Daven Drive for reports of a fire that began in a broom closet. The blaze spread quickly, and firefighters arrived to find black smoke coming from the building.
Crews were able to get the fire under control, with one bedroom significantly damaged and smoke damage throughout the home.
There were no injuries, but all occupants will be temporarily displaced.
The investigation is ongoing, but it is believed at this time that the fire began with an electrical issue.
