The Jennie Stuart Health Foundation will have a new executive director, after Tracey Clark has announced that she will retire after serving seven years at the helm.
According to a news release, Clark first stepped into the role in 2018 when the newly established foundation was formed, and she gets a big share of the credit for the foundation’s current structure and building community support. During her time, she cultivated strong donor relationships, led a successful capital campaign and established an endowment of roughly $1 million to support cancer care.
Clark says, “I am honored to have been a part of the Foundation since its inception, and I am extremely proud of the work we have done to support the patients, care providers and services of Jennie Stuart Health. I am humbled by and deeply appreciative of the trust placed in me by the Foundation Board and hospital leadership. Most importantly, I will always be grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support received from this community that has impacted so many lives.”
Her retirement comes into effect on August 29, but the role won’t sit empty, as Sarah Francis will step into that position. Franics has served alongside Clark for six years, and has been impactful in program development, donor engagement and strategic initiatives.
Francis says, “It is an incredible honor to step into this new role and continue serving a community I care so deeply about. The Foundation has made a meaningful and lasting impact, and I look forward to carrying that legacy forward with purpose, passion, and vision.”
