A suspect wanted in connection to a shooting in Clarksville is now in custody.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, 21-year-old Ka’Bari Jaquez Carr was located and taken into custody in Stewart County, where he will be extradited back to Clarksville. He was wanted on a warrant for aggravated assault after allegedly firing multiple shots from a gun at a moving vehicle on Saturday.
The shooting happened on Tiny Town Road near Tower Drive. Carr was reportedly the passenger in a vehicle that pulled alongside the victim’s car, which is when he allegedly fired several rounds.
The victim was not struck by the gunfire.
Carr is being held on a $75,000 bond.
