The Bluegrass Golf Tour has recognized a Hopkinsville youth among its 2025 Players of the Year.
Oliver Moore was named the Boys 10-and-under (9-Hole) winner it was announced Wednesday.
Moore earned 901 points in his division after playing in at least six events that contributed towards the Player of the Year rankings. He never finished worse than second place with wins in four of eight events he played this summer and won by 24 points over Mayfield’s Miller Dunn, who was second with 877 points.
Moore won the Cullan Brown Invitational and was runner-up in The Tour Championship while also winning the Western Kentucky Series Player of the Year.
The son of Mitchell and Griffin Moore, Oliver will receive his Bluegrass Golf Tour award during the Bluegrass Cup banquet on Oct. 25. He also has earned an invitation to participate in the Bluegrass Cup on Oct. 25-26 at Crosswinds Golf Course.
