Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian Co. welcomes new class, presents awards

Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County welcomed their incoming 2025-2026 leadership class Thursday afternoon, and handed out awards to two well-deserving individuals.

The ceremony was held at the Alhambra Theatre, where it was announced that 25 individuals from within and from outside of Christian County would be embarking as the next Leadership class.  Those individuals include Beverly Allen, Peter Ancil, Kody Armstrong, Shelby Brown, Ken Carver, Jessica Caudill, Deanna Coker, Kelly Downs, Matthew Francies, Johnathon Garnett, Jessica Greene, Audra Harrison, Amanda Knight, Kyle Lyon, Shea Martin, Wendy Meyers, Kristen Middlebrooks, Alexandra Phipps, Douglas Powell, Charles Shephard, Matthew Sholar, Chad Sivils, Shannon Slate, Jackie Walker and LaShay Woods-Gooch.

Then, this year’s Leadership in Action Award was presented to Nikki Chambers, and the Legacy of Leadership Award was presented to Charles Turner. Leadership officials thanked both Chambers and Turner for the leadership they have provided and for all they have done for Christian County as a whole.

It was also announced that Raegan Garnett and Eric White will be the coordinators for this upcoming class.
