The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a helicopter reportedly crashed in Madisonville on July 2.
According to information found on the FAA reporting website, the injuries to the single-occupant are believed to be minor in nature. WFIE out of Evansville reports the crash happened when a pilot lost control of the small helicopter and crashed onto the helipad at the airport in Madisonville.
The circumstances around the crash remain under investigation with the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
