Hoppers get early start tonight against Rhythm

The Hoptown Hoppers will put their two-game winning streak on the line tonight against the OVL leading Full Count Rhythm at Christian County High School’s Colonel Field.

Tonight’s game time has been moved up to 5 p.m. as Hoppers officials are hoping to finish the game before the city’s fireworks show, which is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. across the road at Ruff Park. Airtime for tonight’s game will be 4:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.

After an 0-7 start to the season, the Hoppers are now 10-16 and are in fifth place in the OVL. The Rhythm have won eight of 10 games and enter tonight’s game with an 18-7 mark.

Hoptown will continue its homestand on Saturday with a 6:30 p.m. game against the Paducah Chiefs. Airtime is 6:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.

Sunday night, the Hoppers will play host to the Fulton Railroaders at 6 p.m. with airtime set for 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
