CCHS looking for 20th straight district softball title

Christian County will be seeking its 20th straight District 8 Softball Tournament championship tonight as they take on UHA at 7:30 p.m. It might have been 21 straight if Covid had not canceled the 2020 tournament.

The two teams did not play during the regular season as the Lady Blazers were forced to forfeit to Christian County.

The Lady Colonels enter the game with a 21-13 record. UHA is 5-8 on the season.

Christian County, which has been in every District 8 Softball Tournament championship game, has not lost the tournament title game since falling 6-1 to Hopkinsville in 2004.

Tickets to tonight’s game are $8 and are cash or card.
