If you’re a True Crime enthusiast and want to flex your knowledge, the Hopkinsville Police Department is hosting a fundraiser trivia night on Friday.
Speaking with WHOP this week, HPD Public Information Officer Collette Marfil says the competition will be fierce at the Hopkinsville Brewing Company on Friday, with the party starting at 6 p.m. She says you can make a team of six or try your luck solo, but the price of entry is $150 per team, which gets you drinks, two large pizzas and a spot in the game.
She says you can walk in that night with walk-in fees at the door, but they do ask that you register ahead of time so they can get your pizzas going.
Only 14 teams will be accepted, so make sure you get registered as soon as possible. Marfil says all the money raised by the event will go back to funding the Crime Stoppers program.
Marfil calls the Crime Stoppers program a big asset for local law enforcement, because they can’t be everywhere at once, so this program allows the community to help them keep Hopkinsville safe.
