The Christian County Colonels split a pair of softball games in Owensboro on Saturday.
Jazzy Tejada and Talyn Ezell both drove in three runs and Christian County defeated Franklin-Simpson 7-5 Saturday afternoon. Avery Adcock also had a double for the Lady Colonels.
A three-run fourth inning was the difference for Christian County (14-12). Tejada and Ezell both had big hits in the inning.
Meanwhile, Meade County hit back-to-back doubles in the bottom of the sixth and walked off with a 2-1 softball win over the Lady Colonels on Saturday morning.
Christian County had only four hits in the game.
The Lady Colonels are back in action today at Crittenden County at 6:15 p.m.
