Marshall County scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and defeated visiting Hopkinsville 4-2 Saturday afternoon in a high school baseball game.
The Marshals took a 2-0 lead after two innings, but the Tigers (11-9) bounced back with solo runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
However, the Marshals scored two runs in the sixth using three hits.
Andrew Mayes and Jayden Kellum each had two hits for the Tigers.
Gavin Powell suffered the pitching loss. He struck out five and allowed six hits over six innings.
Hoptown is scheduled to play host to No.7-ranked McCracken County today.
