One person was injured in a house fire on Jackson Court in Hopkinsville Saturday night.
According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, multiple stations responded to a structure fire in the 3000 block of Jackson Court where a passerby had seen smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the building and an active fire inside.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but one person was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation. Three residents will be displaced due to the fire and the Red Cross was called to assist. No firefighters were injured in the blaze.Â
