Hopkinsville Police arrested 20-year-old Jordan Houchens of Hopkinsville for his reported involvement in a shooting incident on Fowler Avenue Monday afternoon.
According to a report, Houchens and a male juvenile got into an argument with a man at a residence on Fowler Avenue near North McPherson Avenue. According to the man, the juvenile threatened to shoot up the place.
The threat was shrugged off, but later a gunshot was reportedly fired through the front door and hit an interior wall. The two occupants in the home were left uninjured. The shooting also resulted in Christian County Middle School being placed on a temporary lock down.
Houchens was identified as one of the people involved. After talking with the juvenile involved, officers found that Houchens reportedly supplied the stolen gun used for the shooting.
He was charged with complicity to first-degree wanton endangerment, complicity to first-degree criminal mischief, receiving stolen property, tampering with physical evidence, using restricted ammunition during a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
