A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for murder, abuse and fleeing-related crimes on Friday.
Thirty-four-year-old Anthony Moore of Pembroke was indicted on murder and three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment following a fatal shooting on March 9. According to a report, Moore was involved in a shooting at a residence on Pembroke-Oak Grove Road that resulted in the death of 31-year-old Cicara Chantel James.
Twenty-three-year-old Mara Cardwell of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree criminal abuse of a child 12 years old or younger. According to a report, two witnesses saw Cardwell striking a 6-year-old child with a closed fist on February 28.
Thirty-year-old Anthony Torres of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree sexual abuse and distributing obscene material to minors. Between April 2023 and August 2023 Torres reportedly made sexual contact with a minor.
Forty-one-year-old Christopher Winters of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit and was in possession of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia. Winters is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and other lesser traffic offenses.
Nineteen-year-old Charles Edwards of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree criminal mischief and speeding after reportedly leading law enforcement on a pursuit on February 22.
Thirty-eight-year-old Lindsay Kio of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after she reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle on February 24. Kio is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, auto theft by unlawful taking, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest first-degree criminal mischief and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
