Two charged with meth trafficking following investigation

Two Hopkinsville men are now in custody on drug trafficking charges following a search of a residence on Lafayette Road Wednesday.

According to a news release from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the search warrant was conducted at a residence in the 3000 block of Lafayette around 11:30 a.m. by the Anti-Crime United.  That search reportedly revealed methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia associated with the distribution of illegal drugs.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jeremy Mann and 43-year-old Jimmy Cornell Jr. were taken into custody and both charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possess ion of drug paraphernalia.
