Several locals chosen for third Leadership West Kentucky

Leadership West Kentucky has announced its third class, which includes several local names and faces, with 32 participants reflecting all participating 15 counties.

From Christian County, Human Rights Commission Executive Director Raychel Farmer has been chosen, along with Taylor Hanock with Farm Credit Mid-America, Michael Veneable with State Farm and Matt Workman of Planters Bank. Cy Dossett with Kentucky Farm Bureau in Trigg County will take part, as will Brian Benedict with the City of Madisonville and Katy McGlothlin with Farmers Back and Trust.

A familiar name from McCracken County—former Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman is taking part on behalf of Playmaker Consulting.

The program is designed to foster a network of informed, engaged citizens who have the knowledge and network to collaborate across county boundaries. The curriculum offers a deep dive into the region’s unique and diverse cultural, business, and economic environments.

By combining regional education, leadership development training, and intentional relationship-building, the program empowers individuals to drive meaningful change and create a lasting, positive impact for all West Kentucky counties
