HPD investigates shooting on Dink Embry’s Buttermilk Road

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a shooting on Dink Embry’s Buttermilk Road from Monday night. 

According to HPD Public Information Officer Colette Marfil, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 300 block of Dink Embry’s just after 7:30 p.m. where a home was struck by gunfire. 

No one was injured in the incident, and officers located nine shell casings scattered throughout the roadway once they arrived on scene.

The victim was able to give a description of a ‘dark-colored sedan’ that left the scene heading towards the Eagle Way Bypass after the shooting. 

No other information was immediately available, and anyone with information is asked to call the ECC at 270-890-1300.
