Dawson Springs held host Heritage Christian Academy without a basket in the third quarter and blew open the game as the Lady Panthers cruised to a 62-18 girls’ high school basketball victory Saturday night.
Playing in their third game in three nights, the Lady Warriors got off to a slow start, trailing 16-5 after one quarter. The Lady Panthers led 37-12 at halftime and outscored HCA 17-0 in the third quarter.
Lauren Loftus led HCA with five points.
The Lady Warriors fell to 0-9 on the season and are back in action Tuesday night against Community Christian in Warrior Gym.
Dawson improved to 4-7 and was led by freshman Baylee Swatzell, who scored 17 points.
