If you love Italian food in Hopkinsville, then you’ve undoubtedly been to DaVinci Little Italian Restaurant on North Drive—and on Thursday, they celebrated 15 years of service with a ribbon cutting.
Pavel Skorpil and Alexa Becker brought the restaurant to Hopkinsville 15-years ago, and on Thursday the chef himself thanked the community for their support, sayings it’s been hard at times, but it’s also been amazing.
He says he’s had a long career in the food industry and it can be a tough one, but this community has made it worth it—Da Vinci’s serves roughly 1,000 customers a month, and Skorpil says with Valentine’s Day coming up, they expect to be wonderfully busy.
Mayor J.R. Knight bragged on the food and the people at DaVinci, saying it’s a community staple and they make Hopkinsville a better place to live.
Skorpil also took the time to compliment their longtime manager, Ashley Mason, saying she keeps the wheels turning while he keeps the food cooking. DaVinci Little Italian Restaurant calls 304 North Drive home and has been there for the majority of its time in Hopkinsville.
