A home was destroyed by fire on Vera Drive in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, two fire stations responded to the area of Vera Drive and West Second Street just before 11 p.m. after law enforcement patrolling in the area noticed smoke.
Firefighters arrived within minutes to find the structure well-involved with flames, and began working to control the blaze. No one was found inside the home and there have been no injuries reported.
