After an opening-game victory in the Queen of the Commonwealth Tournament Friday night, the Christian County Lady Colonels dropped their next two games in the event.
The Lady Colonels opened up the tournament at Bullitt East with a 61-51 win over the host team on Friday night.
Anaysia Bagwell led the Lady Colonels with 22 points and Na’Vaeh Day eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in her career with 12. She added 19 rebounds. Lazarie Daniel provided 14 points.
On Saturday, cold shooting doomed the Lady Colonels in a 53-28 loss to Daviess County. Day led the way with 16 points.
Sunday, the Lady Colonels dropped a 51-39 decision to Southwestern, despite 11 points from Daniel.
The Lady Colonels (6-5) are scheduled to play Louisville Butler today at 12:30 p.m. in their last game of the event.
