University Heights Academy got off to a cold start and dropped a 77-42 boys’ high school basketball game to Evansville Central Saturday in Evansville.
Central led 24-9 after one quarter and never looked back. After pushing the lead to 40-21 at halftime, Central outscored the Blazers 31-11 in the third and start the running clock.
Tylin George had 17 of his team-leading 28 points in the second half for the Blazers, who fell to 1-6.
UHA will play Warren Central Friday in the Colonel Basketball Classic at Henderson County.
