In July, Brice Long’s Back-2-Back Foundation announced that it raised around $107,750 to provide Christmas gifts for families in Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties.
The foundation raised money through sponsorships, donations, a silent auction, and an annual benefit concert, which included performances from Long himself and the band McBride and the Ride.
Now that the holidays are rolling around, Long appeared on WHOP News and shared that they have started distributing presents.
The foundation has provided Christmas gifts for the community for the past 20 years and has raised over $1 million during that time. Long says the foundation started as an opportunity to help a few families and has since grown beyond his expectations.
Long says they started distributing presents in Todd County on Friday, then on Saturday they will be in Christian and Trigg Counties handing out gifts. This year the foundation was able to provide gifts for over 50 families as well as donations to local rehabilitation organizations, Grace and Mercy and Redeemed and Restored.
With the donated funds, the organizations will host Christmas shopping events for their clients.
The Brice Long Back-2-Back Foundation Concert will be back at the Alhambra Theatre in July 2025.
