A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for fleeing, assault and drug trafficking related crimes on Friday.
Thirty-one-year-old Elijah Thomas of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a vehicle and then an on-foot pursuit on October 8. Thomas is charged with second-degree and third-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree criminal mischief, having no operator’s license, failure to maintain required insurance, disregarding a stop sign and failing to wear a seat belt.
Twenty-five-year-old Xavier Hernandez of Hopkinsville was indicted on charges of first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault after he reportedly punched and strangled a victim during a verbal altercation on October 24.
Forty-one-year-old Natalie Gonsalez of Hopkinsville was arrested on several drug charges after a search of her car reportedly unveiled methamphetamine, suspected cocaine and marijuana and several items of a drug paraphernalia on October 15. Gonsalez is charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
