The Tennessee Valley Authority is on the way to Florida, to help get the power back on for those impacted by Hurricane Milton.
In a post to social media, the TVA says over 100 line-workers, along with heavy equipment, headed out to Florida Thursday morning, to assist Duke Energy in restoring power. Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night and brought widespread damage and flooding to the bulk of the state.
TVA helicopters and a crew are already in Florida assisting with damage assessments.
