Hopkinsville Police arrested, 23-year-old Detraveon Chamberlain and 24-year-old Timanisha Dykes both of Hopkinsville after a reported robbery on Thursday.
According to a report from police, officers were dispatched to Max Fuel on Lafayette Road where a victim shared that they had been robbed. The victim told officers that they were staying at Dykes’ house when the pair got into a physical altercation, leading to the victim leaving the house.
Dykes then reportedly called the victim telling them that they forgot their wallet at her house. When the victim returned, Chamberlain also arrived at the home and an argument between him and the victim ensued.
The argument reportedly turned physical and the victim’s phone was stolen. Following the altercation, the victim ran from the residence to get help and call 911. The victim’s phone was reportedly located in Dykes’ bedroom closet.
Chamberlain was charged with second-degree robbery and Dykes was charged with complicity to second-degree robbery.
