In recent years, beef consumption has been at an all-time high, recognizing its rich protein, essential vitamins and minerals, and the beneficial nutrients from beef makes it a leading element in a balanced lifestyle.
Carolyn Altman, a local personal trainer and self-taught nutritionist, mentioned that beef is for everyone. There is certainly variety when it comes to consuming beef, such as ground beef, steaks and numerous other cuts that can make meal time easy for parents and caregivers. Altman says, beef is a great and enjoyable way to encourage a healthier lifestyle.Â
Altman commented on how for individuals interested in losing weight, beef can be an easy answer, as beef supports muscle growth so they can lose fat. She goes on to mention how increasing your lean muscle mass supports everyone’s mind and body, decreasing brain fog and increasing overall energy.
Altman also spoke about the ten amino acids found in beef alone that are essential to your body, and she says, beef is a complete protein providing the necessary fuel that individuals need during the day.Â
Altman reinforces the importance of beef consumption in young kids, saying back to school can be difficult for the whole family because of sickness, so finding a way to encourage immune system support through beef consumption is crucial.
Altman left us with the idea that seeing all the benefits to beef intake doesn’t occur after one meal, the beef consumption game has long term benefits and can support healthy ageing for longer lives.
