Two charged with meth trafficking in Hopkinsville

Two people were arrested by the Hopkinsville Police Department Wednesday on charges with methamphetamine trafficking.

According to a news release, HPD’s Crime Suppression Unit and patrol units conducted an investigation that resulted in a search warrant issued for a residence on West Edmunds Street. That search reportedly revealed a large amount of meth and two firearms. 

Carlos Silva and Paola Rodriguez, both natives of Venezuela, were arrested on meth trafficking charges.
