The Clarksville Police Department is investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Providence Boulevard just after midnight.
The single-vehicle crash happened at 12:05 a.m. Friday, according to a news release, in the 600 block of Providence Boulevard in the area of E Street and Oak Street. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene and their name has not yet been released.
The roadway was closed for several hours as investigators responded to the scene.
