Woman charged with vehicular homicide in Clarksville fatal crash

A Clarksville woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that happened in June on Peachers Mill Road in Clarksville.

According to a news release from the Clarksville Police Department, the two-vehicle crash happened near Allen Griffey Road on June 16 and killed 47-year-old Huey Johnson of Clarksville, and the other vehicle involved fled the scene. Following a lengthy investigation, an interview was conducted with 19-year-old Briana Golden of Clarksville.

A Grand Jury would return an indictment against Golden in August for vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driver to exercise due care and speeding. She was taken into custody and her bond was set at $90,000.
