University Heights Academy had little difficulty in dispatching Heritage Christian Academy 8-0 Tuesday night in a boys’ All “A” Region 2 Soccer Tournament semifinal contest in Eddyville.
Hayden Hunt had three goals and Cal Givens had a pair to pace UHA, which advances to play Fort Campbell on Thursday night at Fort Campbell. The Falcons defeated Caldwell County 4-1 Tuesday night.
Lincoln Hauret had a goal and an assist. Cadence Gibson had a goal and Logan Miller provided a pair of assists on the night.
Griffin McCoy also had a goal and an assist for the Blazers, who are going for their ninth straight All “A” region crown.
UHA outshot HCA 20-1 with Eli Finch and Hayden Fitzsimmons teaming for the shutout in goal. Fitzsimmons had the lone save.
