Lady Tigers post soccer win at Bluegrass State Games

The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers traveled to Lexington over the weekend to participate in the Bluegrass State Games.

The Lady Tigers dropped their opening game 3-0 to strong Walton Verona squad.

In the second game Saturday, Lexington Henry Clay held off the Lady Tigers 1-0.

On Sunday, Kaylyn Lynch used an assist from Kaydon Coats to score Hoptown’s lone goal in a 1-0 win over Fleming County.

Jaleigha McFarland had the shutout in goal for the Lady Tigers.

Hopkinsville will open the regular season August 15 at Lyon County.
