Ascend Elements is set to host a job fair at Hopkinsville Community College this month, as they look to fill the 70 plus job positions that are opening at that facility.
According to a news release, it will take place July 16 in a partnership with the West Kentucky Workforce Board. The electric vehicle battery materials manufacturer that is set to open on John Rivers Road in Hopkinsville will one day employ around 400 individuals and they are currently seeking chemical operators, analytical lab technicians, logistics, engineering personnel and security guards.
The job fair will be from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Emerging Technology Building at the HCC campus on North Drive on July 16.
