It’s that time of year again, as eager bargain hunters will be heading up and down U.S. 68 to find the deals along the 400 Mile Yard Sale this weekend.
The enormous event that brings visitors in from across the country technically got underway Thursday, but it will continue all the way through Sunday, and you won’t have to look too hard to find some sales. Coordinator Tara Hall spoke with WHOP and says they hope to introduce people to hidden treasures in local communities, and the best way to do that is check out 400mile.com.
She says you can also fully plot out your yard sale adventure, using the website to narrow down what it is you’re looking for and who might have it, and more.
Hall does remind motorists to take it slow while driving past any sales near the roadway, and be on the lookout for slow moving drivers who may not know the area as well as you.
