The 101st Combat Aviation Brigade will host a color casing ceremony on Friday, ahead of their upcoming deployment to the middle East.
According to a news release, the ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and will feature presentation by a color guard, formation of Soldiers, and casing of the unit’s flags. The ceremony will represent the movement of the Combat Aviation Brigade’s headquarters and subordinate units to a deployed environment and recognize the commitment of the unit’s soldiers.
Soldiers will deploy across the middle East in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, in a mission to advise, assist and enable partner forces to secure a lasting defeat of ISIS.
